How to Setup Email Forwarding

This guide shows you how to setup email forwarding for different email service providers


For Gmail

  1. Open your Gmail account that you want to connect to ConvertWay. Click the Settings icon on the top right corner of the screen.
  2. Click on See all settings button.
  3. Navigate to the Forwarding and POP/IMAP tab. Click on the Add a forwarding address button.
  4. Copy the forwarding address from ConvertWay and paste it in the input field shown below. Click on Next to proceed.
  5. A new window will open asking you to Confirm forwarding address. Complete this step by clicking on the Proceed button.
  6. Gmail will now send a verification code. This code will be sent to your ConvertWay Chat Panel.
  7. Select the email that you added to ConvertWay to find the verification email sent by Gmail. You will find a confirmation link. Copy the link and Click on Confirm.
  8. By default, Gmail keeps forwarding disabled. To enable forwarding, select the radio button that says Forward a copy of the incoming mail to.
  9. Click on Save Changes to complete the Email Setup.


For Shopify

  1. Open your Shopify admin and go to Online Store > Domains from the left panel.
  2. Select a domain that is managed by Shopify that you want to use for receiving emails. Managed by Shopify means that either you purchased the domain via Shopify, or you transferred ownership of it to Shopify.
  3. Select Add forwarding email address. You will see 2 fields: "Store Email Address" & "Forwarding Email Address".
  4. Copy the forwarding email address from Convertway and paste it in the "Forwarding Email Address" field.
  5. Click on Save to confirm your settings.
